Logging into the Teacher Portal
Navigate to the Deledao Teacher Portal from the school website -> Technology -> Deledao Teacher Portal OR click the link below and bookmark it!

Sign in With Google

If prompted/it pops up, select your HPS account

Setting up your Classroom(s)
Click Manage Classroom on the left side

Click Import from Google Classroom OR you can create a custom class
If you create a custom class and then import from Google, it will overwrite your custom class(es). Import from Google Classroom FIRST and then create any custom class(es) if desired.

Click Import

Click Allow when prompted for permissions

It will confirm the Google Classroom(s) that were imported

To create a custom class, click the + symbol
A custom class can be for a small subset of students or even an individual student that may need additional filtering/blocked sites or individual monitoring by another staff member if they frequently go off topic, doing this you can have your main class with X restrictions and your subset class with Y restrictions.

Modify class lists after importing or creating a custom class
If you add a new student or a student leaves from your class, you can easily modify the list.
- Click on the class (1) and then click on the Select Students Email dropdown (2).
- Check the box next to any student you want in the class.

You can search by name to quickly find a specific student
Be sure to click SAVE at the bottom after making a change!

You can modify the default ‘session’ type below that, see the next steps on how to set the session type up.

Adding and Managing Session Types
Click All Sessions to modify the Session Types

By default you will only have the ‘Free Internet Access’ session type, click the + to add a new one.

Add your Session name and choose how you want it to function
- You can have the session BLOCK all websites except the ones you allow (1) (check the ‘Block all websites by default box’)
- You can have the session allow all normal websites but block a specific website (2), for example if you don’t use YouTube in your class you can prevent students from using YouTube while your class in session.

Click save to add the session.

You can set this session type as the default for your classes by checking the ‘Default’ box at the top

Starting your Classroom
Now that your classroom is set up you can start a class session. Click on your class you’d like to start.

Select the session if you wanted to add a custom one.

Select how long the class should last

Click Start Now to begin!
